This Privacy Policy explains how Nivoq Technolabs Pvt. Ltd. (“Nivoq”, “we”, “us”), the company behind the product Foloque (“Foloque”, the “Service”), collects, uses, stores, and protects your information when you use our website at www.foloque.in and related applications.

By using Foloque, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who we are

Foloque is an invoicing and automated payment-reminder platform operated by Nivoq Technolabs Pvt. Ltd., a company registered in India. Registered address: 503, Akshar Jyot Apt, Bhagvati, Park, Zanzarda Road, Junagadh, Gujarat, India - 362001. For any privacy questions you can contact us at contact@foloque.in.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account details: name, email address, and authentication credentials.
  • Business details: company name, address, GSTIN/tax details, and logo you add to invoices.
  • Client and invoice data: your clients’ names, email addresses, phone/WhatsApp numbers, invoice amounts, due dates, and attachments you upload.
  • Email-sending settings: your own SMTP credentials, where you choose to send reminders from your own email provider.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage and device data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, used to operate and secure the Service.
  • Cookies and similar technologies for authentication and analytics (see Section 8).

3. WhatsApp Business Platform & Meta integration

Foloque offers an optional integration with the WhatsApp Business Platform (provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) so you can send invoice reminders from your own WhatsApp Business Account. When you connect WhatsApp:

  • You authorize Foloque, through Meta’s official Embedded Signup flow, to send messages on your behalf using your own WhatsApp Business Account. Meta’s per-message fees are billed directly to your WhatsApp Business Account, not to Foloque.
  • We receive and securely store an access token and identifiers (WhatsApp Business Account ID and phone number ID) needed to send messages. Access tokens are stored encrypted at rest, are never exposed to your browser or other users, and are used solely to send the reminders you configure.
  • We process message delivery status (sent, delivered, read, failed) returned by Meta’s webhooks so you can see whether your reminders reached your clients.
  • You can disconnect WhatsApp at any time from your account settings, which revokes our stored token and stops all WhatsApp sending for your account.

Your use of WhatsApp through Foloque is also subject to WhatsApp’s Business Policy and Meta’s terms. We do not use WhatsApp data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

4. How we use your information

  • To provide the Service: create invoices and send the email and/or WhatsApp reminders you configure.
  • To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
  • To process subscription payments and manage your plan.
  • To provide support and respond to your requests.
  • To comply with legal obligations and prevent abuse.

5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with service providers that help us operate Foloque, including:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and storage hosting.
  • Vercel — application hosting.
  • Meta Platforms — to deliver WhatsApp messages you send through your connected account.
  • PhonePe — to process subscription payments.
  • Your own email (SMTP) provider, where you configure one for sending reminders.

We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.

6. Data retention

We retain your account and invoice data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. You can delete reminders and invoices at any time. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes.

7. Your rights & data deletion

You may access, correct, export, or delete your data from within the app, or by emailing contact@foloque.in. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and we will process it promptly.

8. Cookies

We use cookies and local storage strictly to keep you signed in and to understand aggregate usage so we can improve the Service. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

9. Security

We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit and at rest, row-level access controls, and restricted server-side handling of secrets such as WhatsApp tokens and SMTP passwords — to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.

10. Children

Foloque is intended for businesses and is not directed to individuals under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email.
